Do You Know Him?

There are many people who have a head knowledge of Jesus. They know who Jesus is and they believe in Him. Many people know and believe in God. There is a difference in having a head knowledge of someone and a heart knowledge.

The first question you must ask yourself is: Do I believe in the Bible? Do I believe it is the Word of God? If you do then please continue.

According to Romans 3:23, “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.“

Romans 6:23, “The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

There is good news. Even though we have sinned and deserve nothing more than death, God loved us so much that He provided a way for us to receive eternal life and be with Him in Heaven.

Romans 5:8, “God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.“

Acts 3:19, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.“

God provides the ONLY WAY.

Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.“

You may ask how?

Romans 10:9-10 & 13, “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation…For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.“

1 John 4:15, “Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.“

1 John 5:12, “He that hath the Son (Jesus) hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God (Jesus) hath not life.”

If this makes sense to you, why not bow your head and ask God to forgive you of your sins, ask Jesus to take charge of your life and be your Lord and Savior. You simply need to pray and ask Him.

Pray this prayer while believing and trusting Jesus in your heart and God will save you.

Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. Please forgive me and enter my heart and make me a new person by saving me today. From this day forth, my trust is in You. Thank you for giving me eternal life. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

You have just realized the difference in head knowledge and heart knowledge. 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.“
